1. I believe that being passionate about your job is extremely important. In having passion for a job it won't truly feel as though you're working and instead, doing what you love to be around on a daily basis while getting paid for it. Those that are willing to at first work a little harder will be much happier with their career in the end. That brief period of troublesome labour to first set themselves up to be in that job will be more than worth it in the end. If you cannot be passionate about a job then it will be an extremely long and miserable journey throughout the remainder of that job, which could perhaps reach all the way until someones retirement! Paul Potts is an example of someone who decided to go ahead and take a chance and discovered that in taking that chance he now has the opportunity to pursue a career in what he loves doing. Many people don't ever want to bother with the hard road but it actually ends up easier in the long run.
2. My plans career wise are to study in the field of human kinetics. I'm not entirely sure at this point what I would like to branch out into upon completion of my degree but there are a lot of options to explore. Ranging from careers in personal training, prosthetics, physiotherapy, sports medicine and many many others. To get there I'm going to obviously go through college/university and I also do research on things such as muscles or weight lifting techniques on my own time to better understand how to keep my own body in the best shape it can be and work on building muscles up bigger and stronger. Through having prior knowledge to some extent on the subject of certain elements of the human body it will hopefully continue to motivate me to pursue a career in this field and fully complete my degree in university. Also, I might go about speaking to people in the community about the different fields about what exactly it entails to attempt to get a much clearer picture as to what I may actually enjoy branching off into. I know a chiropractor in Penticton and am sure he wouldn't mind explaining to me what goes on. I'm sure he also knows other people who work in different area's such as physiotherapists and connections could benefit me immensely in the future with locating jobs. While I'm still not quite sure exactly what I'm going to do with my career I believe that I've layed out a fairly stable foundation for working towards it.
